Ok, as promised I am giving the

forum goers updates that I do half a day in advance. In the next few weeks, only the users with a certain score (earned by posting on

forums/rating vids/writing articles/journals will be able to access certain sections such as the pre-release section and the advance

news updates.

For now it's open to all so keep up the good work!

Yes it is, hopefully, as well as SnH2. I'm going to be helping Zax with some of

the stuff needed for editing. We are currently getting our graphics together (not going to be more detailed about this unless Zax gives

the OK - being that he's the editor)

Maybe I can get CV forums involved to help to speed things up. CV Forums would be

credited in the credits if you guys helped :yes

Sounds good, but how will we know about this?

At first I was going to make a 'news updates thread' but that would just be

too easy. I'll try to imbed updates within current threads.

Therefore you really have to be an active member of the forums

to know what's going on. For example, in the tutorials section I mentioned that I'd be putting up some CvS2 tutorials soon. A

Sakura tutorial should be up for tomorrows update =]

P.S. I'm not going to restrict any parts of the site just

yet. I'll give users several months to become active, plus I still want new comers to see this site in all of its gl0ry. =]

I like that, i really like that. Along with the "register to download"

this'll reward people with actual interest, as well as keep the forums clean and healthy.

You know? I really want to praise the

work you're doing here man, I have dwelt in gcc and srk forums for long, but with little interest because of the low control and

interaction with the sites. I know it must be hard for Tragic to keep up the gg forums, but I think I've seen more posts from you this

week than from him or MrWizard in months.

I mean in no way to discredit their work for I enjoy

greatly those 2 sites and owe them my ascent from scrubdom and actual love for the game (and I hope the gcc stuff round here!). But this

is the first time I've actually been given a chance to contribute in a nascent community. Sorry if I'm boring or sound stupid, but

I've been working nonstop for like 18h without food, so I should stop bablng now.

I would like this forum to be more and more hilarous.

If anybody needs help on making vids or something just let me know, I am

always ready for help...

Nope I'm pretty sure Nagata uploaded it already to the FTP, but space is

running low and I still have plenty of videos to go around for at least a month or two so no need to upload yet. :cool

Would you guys please tell me how to use the ftp so that I could upload

my vids. I am still trying, but it seems I just try to use the ftp in vain.

You would need the

host, username and pw information before you could connect to our servers. But as I said bandwidth is running low, so I'm not making

any new accounts this month. When the bandwidth renews next month (Nov. 1) I'll look into getting one set up for you.

since when was the Combo Videos Hall of Fame changed to a requirement of being a CV+ member in order to access them?

I've decided that the Hall of Fame will be CV+ only until further notice. This could be for a while folks. In the meantime, we've made the CV Wall of Fame, which regular users will still get access to the older stuff that we 'newly' add to the site.

The reason for this is because well, I don't have the time to change around all those links on the new server... hundreds of links we're talking about.. and I don't want the staff doing it either (unless they really want to volunteer to).. because it's boring and laborsome work.

So this is the best solution for now.

All the newly added stuff will be available for all. Although there will be some goodies definitely thrown in exclusively for CV+ members :)

Oh, that's OK. I've downloaded most of them while it was still up. I don't come here very often so I tend to miss alot. I'd appreciated if there was an announcement on when the Hall of Fame are open for regular CV members again.
