A real treat for the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Fans

today.

We have just received footage from a recent tourney from Marvel_ous One.

This video is over 400 MB and

features almost 2 HOURS worth of 3S match video goodness for your viewing pleasure!

Watch out for Urien's parry against ken! (As

seen below)

It was a good tourney, to bad I had to leave early and not compete in the

rest of the tourney. My match versus Jeff, I was sandbagging really hard so don't pay attention to that match. Only judge me from my

match against Nibor and not Jeff's.

Grah, I can't watch these because I'm at my girlfriend's house. 400 mbs on

her compytron would not fly. Anyway, can't wait to view the footage at home.

I want to see this beastly

Urien.

Does anyone know how much MVC2 footage is on this thing?

There is no MvC2 on this video Gak, yeah I know 2hrs and no MvC2 at a

tourney LOL. But this video is Third Strike only. Oh yeah, and that Urien is beastly, especially when he parries Ken's SA3. :cool

Make

sure the file size meets these specifications 126x120 and can't be any bigger than 24 kb

After you upload your picture just

hit 'update'. Then it should show your av. If it's not there, it's because it's to big either dimension wise or

size-wize.

Also, glad you are enjoying the 400+ mb monster of a video. *Goes back to watch certain parts again* :p

Ooo, nice. I am downloading it at this moment. I think one of the most

challenging feats is responding to a cheap kill attempt and save your ass by parrying. Sure, you can do this in practice mode or in

casual matches, but tournaments are more tense and competitive, and inevitably gets harder to parry super arts (unless we're talking

about fireball super arts). Nevertheless, I am generally excited about watching the tournament itself, I think there is never enough 3s

tournament footage for us fans.

Just watched the vid...that Urien is inspiring. I am going to play some 3S

right now to celebrate the return of the almighty thong. But before I go: all the respect in the world in Marvel_ous One and Duane. I

would love to see more match vids out of you two. One thing though..... just bugging the hell out of me, I kept seeing elbow, tackle,

the mp or maybe hp aegis, but in the corner. Why was it done? lol I understand and can pull off Urien unblockables, but I was wondering

what set up was being used for that corner game. Kept looking like a wasted guage to me save when I saw lp aegis with the vkd crossup.

Ahh, it's downloading slow and I need instant gratification. Does anyone know

which characters are played? I hope it's not a Ken/Chun/Yun fest. I know Urien was in it...but I've yet to see someone like Q or Necro

played in a tourney.

Oh man, big thanks to CV.com for hosting this monster!:yes

Sup fellas. This is Marvel_ous One (Duane)<---same people,

posting under my boys name cause i cant seem to click on the link after I register. Dont know why they have my sig and real name under

seperate matches. Anyways im glad everyone enjoys the vid and we'll hopefully be able to put some footage up every month. We're trying

to get recognized as part of the 3s community and finally we're breaking some barriers. Big ups to Nibor for the come back against me

in the finals and Trey for the footage.

There also was an mvc2 tourney and magneto_x won it and i got 3rd. Sadly it wasnt

recorded so next time we'll keep that in mind.

For the response to Goukisans question, i usually try to pull off something like

launcher, mk tacklexx fp aegis, then follow it up with 2 rh tackles to a heabutt/ex headbutt or another mk tacklexx lp aegis to setup

for the unblockable . Somewhat a waste of meter but good damage and urien gets meter back pretty quick. Just kind of a spur of the

moment thing i guess.

This vid plays like a Urien Aegis trap tutorial. Especially noteworthy are

Fb -> Aegis on wakeup, ken blocks the FB and gets sweeped into aegis, and the full screen tackle -> Aegis -> Knee to the other side of

the opponent and dash them while they are waking INTO the aegis.

He performs several Aegis traps/unblockables throughout, and

altogether teaches you how to get it done in a match the right way,

Uh, Marvelous_One, not to hate, but while your trappin' skills are

Lol. Man i swear i was teching some of those throws. If it was on the left

side, that shit was kinda faulty in a way. You may notice how Nibor switches sides with me and then i switch back, etc. Ken is also

pretty scary when im cornered. So many mixups just kinda hard to tell. Word of advice to some people is rh vkd out that bitch. We both

agreed that something not very noticeable was up with the left side. But he got the best of me in the end. Im coming back for my revenge

though and you can bet that.
